Welcome! My name is Carina, and I am a health and alpine mountain enthusiast who is committed to empowering communities to effectively respond to both natural and manmade crises. I am a certified American Red Cross Instructor offering courses in Basic Life Support and Adult & Pediatric First Aid & CPR/AED. I live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest and am able to provide training throughout much of Western Oregon and Southern Washington.

After spending years in education, research, and global volunteer work, I decided to pursue a Master's Degree in Public Health and train as an Emergency Medical Technician to better understand how to strengthen local disaster preparedness and response efforts. When my beloved father unexpectedly passed from cardiac arrest in January of 2026, I realized that the life-threatening emergencies that occur each day do not only impact first responders and government programs. These events affect family members, coworkers, friends, and neighbors. I knew I needed to start my mission by empowering individuals to become confident in performing lifesaving skills. No person should feel powerless to help someone during an emergency situation. Learning CPR/AED & First Aid can help provide the confidence needed to save a life.
